  1. I like this post. I think social media has really brought about huge amount of opportunities. There a a vast number of people who are getting employed by interacting directly with the companies they are interested in joining. Though i agree that social media has caused a significant change in making alot of people self employed. Social media gives everyone that even platform. If you have a product or service its now easy to share it with your friends and family across social media networks, making the process of setting up a business a alot more simple, because you already have a database of potential customers and clients.

  2. Social media can boost the economy in many ways it is equally effective as a cost reduction as well as tool to boost the revenues of your business. A well-planned and well-executed social media marketing campaign can do wonders to boost your business revenues.
It defiantly opens doors to jobs, especially a site like LinkedIn that concentrates on networking with potential employers.

  3. I'll give this post a thumb up! Though times have become more challenging financially, social media has made it possible for individuals to cope under the financial strains, with its low barriers to entry for social networking websites; this is especially good because it could ease the current high rate of unemployment. In addition to this, social media is apparently now the quickest way to seek employment. So in that sense, social network does have a positive effect on the economy; which is a good.
In contrast, some companies have decided against taking some people on because of their social media history, which doesn’t help the economy.
